Opposition party leader charged with alleged tax evasion
Armenian authorities today filed charges of large-scale tax evasion against Gagik Tsarukyan, a business tycoon and leader of the Prosperous Armenia party which finished fourth in Sunday’s parliamentary election.
Armenia’s Central Election Commission has addressed reports of dozens of soldiers being allowed to vote in Sunday’s election after the polling stations had been already closed.
