On Pavel and Aram Manukyan: Updates by their Attorney

Inessa Petrosyan, Pavel and Aram Manukyans' attorney  says both her clients are in a post-surgical recovery period, Pavel Manukyan is expected to undergo another surgery soon and both are still under the care of the Erebuni Medical Center staff, where they were originally operated on. According to Inessa Persosyan, taking into consideration their health and the upcoming surgery, her defendants should be transported back to the Erebuni hospital and not be kept in a prison hospital where they currently are.

Petrosyan also stated that Pavel and Aram Manukyans have refused the charges they were presented with, both have been charged with Article 219 of the Criminal Code (seizing buildings, means of transportation and communication) and Article 235 (illegally acquiring, using, keeping, transferring or carrying weapons, ammunition or explosive devices).

Pavel and Aram Manoukyan were were tranfered to the Erebuni Medical Center with gunshot wounds where they both underwent emergency surgeries on the night of July 26. Pavel Manukyan has been on a counterstrike since then.
