Yerablur Military Pantheon became our first home. Arsen Aljikyan’s story

Lusine, the mother of 19-year-old Arsen Aljikyan, smiles when talking about her son. "I am proud to have known him," she says. He was 11 months into his mandatory military service when the Second Artsakh War broke out. Lusine says that Arsen always reassured them that nothing dangerous was happening around him. Later, they found out that he had been in one of the epicenters of military activities, and died after avenging his friend’s death.
