Radisson Hotel Group has officially announced the opening of Radisson Hotel & Spa Gyumri. This new establishment has become the company's 17th hotel in the Caucasus and Central Asia regions.
The opening of the Radisson brand hotel in Gyumri is the company's second project in Armenia, following the successful launch of Radisson Blu Hotel in Yerevan in 2016. The new hotel introduces the Radisson brand to Armenia.
"We are thrilled to introduce the Radisson brand to Armenia with the opening of Radisson Hotel & Spa Gyumri. We are proud to collaborate with Alecpol Projects Management and look forward to a successful partnership as we continue expanding in this dynamic region," said Maria Znova, Senior Director of Business Development at Radisson Hotel Group.
Radisson Hotel & Spa Gyumri offers 64 rooms featuring Scandinavian-inspired design. The hotel also has a conference hall, meeting rooms, restaurant, and gym.
Guests have access to the historic Alexandra Spa Center, located in a building constructed in 1881. It offers bathing halls, swimming pools, massage rooms, and four types of steam baths.
"Transforming Shiraz Plaza Hotel & Spa into Radisson Hotel & Spa Gyumri is an exciting step for us. Partnering with Radisson Hotel Group on this landmark project allows us to introduce a world-class hospitality experience to Gyumri, contributing to the city's growth as a premier destination in the region," said Arman Barseghyan, Director of Alecpol Projects Management.
The construction of the complex began in 2022, with a total project cost of $8 million, creating 50 jobs.
