Yerevan celebrates 2807th birthday

Yerevan — one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities — celebrates its 2807th anniversary on October 12. The city was founded in 782 BC, nearly three decades before Rome, and has now grown into Armenia’s vibrant capital.
As every fall, the over one million people living in Yerevan will gather in the streets for a wide range of concerts, events, and activities, to celebrate a city that keeps evolving each day.
