Regional journalists gather in Yerevan for Seizing Synergies and cross-border collaboration

Seizing Synergies brings together four independent media from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine in a long-term editorial partnership designed to strengthen regional reporting through practical cooperation. Implemented by n-ost, this three-year project enables partners to jointly produce cross-border stories, podcast episodes, and public events, while building shared workflows, editorial exchange, and a common pool of expertise.

As part of this ongoing collaboration, representatives of the partner media met in Yerevan for several days of intensive exchange and joint activities. The visit included closed discussions on Armenia’s current political landscape ahead of the parliamentary elections, meetings with international experts, and an inspiring visit to the CivilNet newsroom to learn more about the hosting team’s daily work and editorial approach.

The program also featured a public networking event, bringing together journalists, civil society representatives, diplomats, and friends for vibrant conversations on regional journalism, collaboration, and the critical importance of staying connected across borders in a rapidly changing region.
