CivilNet: 15 Years Build on Trust

CivilNet was born on Armenia’s Independence Day, with a mission to establish a one-of-its-kind independent media in the country.

When CivillNet began its operations in 2011, we hired the first generation of college graduates who were born after Armenia’s independence. We called them the independence generation. We hired for character, and trained for skills. We hired those who were passionate, hardworking and cared about their country’s and their own futures.

Over the years, this staff, now numbering 45, have shaped and guided a newsroom that is one of a kind in Armenia.
