October 18-19: “Social, Cultural and Economic History of Kayseri and the Region,” a conference sponsored by the Hrant Dink Foundation was banned in Kayseri (historic Gesaria.) The following week, it was banned in Istanbul.
October 26: To celebrate Kayseri and its heritage, the Hrant Dink Foundation organized a Manti festival, which highlighted the many styles and stories of the dumplings for which Kayseri is famous.
