Subsidizing salaries to attract highly qualified specialists to Armenia

Hovsep Patvakanyan, the head of the Investment Council of Armenia, sat down with CivilNet to discuss a new government program subsidizing salaries for highly qualified specialists up to 70%, meant to address Armenia’s shortage of highly-skilled labor. Patvakanyan also talked about a new investment package for the southern Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions, which are still reeling from Azerbaijan’s unprecedented September attack.
