Tensions high as law enforcement raids Etchmiadzin Cathedral
Civilnet- Armenia’s National Security Service entered the Etchmiadzin Cathedral in an attempt to detain Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan, head of the Church’s Shirak Diocese. They eventually left to avoid major clashes with the crowd and expect Ajapahyan to surrender voluntarily.
