Armenia Hopes to “Break the Epidemic’s Backbone”

Voters in Nagorno-Karabakh head to the polls to elect a new president in a second round runoff. 6 infected servicemen have recovered from COVID-19, with a further 28 cases of the virus confirmed in Armenia. The PM has stated that due to recoveries outpacing newly confirmed cases, the number of active cases is dropping. And the planting of 10 million trees as part of a large-scale reforestation program has been postponed.
