Torosgyugh, a small village of the Shirak region, is located in high altitudes. The winters are harsh but the sun shines 300 days a year: perfect weather conditions to start a sustainable project. With Timothy Straight, you will discover the Passive Solar Greenhouse of Torosgyugh, where the villagers learn how to produce herbs and vegetables even during the harsh winters. This project was financed by the embassy of Romania and implemented by UNDP in Armenia.
