East of Byzantium in Armenia

Emmy nominated producer William Martens spoke to Maria Titizian about filming the epic documentary-narrative series “East of Byzantium” on location in Armenia. The documentary will showcase the historic role Armenia played in the spread of Christianity. Students from the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies were given the opportunity to assist in the production through filming time-lapse scenes, taking part as background actors and filming alongside the camera crew.
