Following the rebel attack on the historic Armenian town of Kesab, Syria, approximately two-dozen mostly elderly Kesab Armenians were taken to Vakif, the last remaining Armenian village in Turkey. After 40 days in Vakif, they were finally allowed to leave for Beirut, Lebanon where many of them were reunited with their relatives. CivilNet reporters Harout Ekmanian and Daron Titizian accompanied them on their journey from Vakif to Beirut.
