  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged the 1915 Genocide Armenians. This, however, cannot be considered Israel’s official recognition, an Armenian Genocide researcher told CivilNet.
  • Armenian banks will for the first time exchange information on foreign taxpayers’ accounts with 47 countries, including Russia. Human rights activists say this may put exiled critics of the Kremlin in danger.
