Armenian Survivor Testimonials at Shoah Foundation

Founded in 1994 by Steven Spielberg, the Shoah Foundation’s mission was to videotape testimonies with survivors and other witnesses of the Holocaust. Today, with the inclusion of witnesses from other genocides, including the Armenian Genocide, the Foundation houses nearly 52,000 audio-visual testimonies. Executive Director Dr. Stephen Smith was in Yerevan participating in the centennial commemoration of the Armenian Genocide. He spoke about the Foundation and the need for recognition.
