U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will arrive in Armenia on Tuesday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced Monday. He is set to meet Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, with the signing of bilateral documents also planned.
It remains unclear whether Rubio will also visit Azerbaijan during the trip, as Baku has yet to announce any such plans at the time of publication.
In February, U.S. Vice President JD Vance visited both countries. His trip to Armenia resulted in agreements between the two countries on civil nuclear cooperation, a first-ever drone purchase deal, and high-tech initiatives, including plans to build an AI data center northeast of Yerevan.
