Denmark’s Carlsberg Group agreed to acquire U.S. beverage giant PepsiCo’s bottlers in Armenia and Georgia, pending government approval. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
Amazon is willing to make an investment in Armenia if the country can guarantee a reliable energy supply for its operations, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan also said Armenia has the proper legal justification to terminate an existing long-term deal that gives Russia the right to operate its railroads.
