Dear compatriots,
The fact that the democratic processes in Armenia are irreversible should not raise doubts for anyone either in Armenia or outside of its borders.
By the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the power belongs to the people. Consequently, legislative, executive and judicial branches of the Armenian government must reflect the collective will of the people of Armenia and serve their constitutional goals.
Therefore, I urge all citizens of Armenia, regardless of their social and political position and office, to maintain peace and calm, adhere to the Constitution and the laws.
At this time, although away on an official visit abroad, I am constantly in touch with the relevant state bodies.
I urge that sobriety and tolerance prevail in the coming days.
