An Accidental Detour Benefits 160 Kids

Jerome Gence is traveling the world on a shoestring budget. The money he saves by hitchhiking and couchsurfing, he donates to a local organization benefiting the children of whichever country he finds himself in. Although Armenia was not in his original travel plans, 160 kids from Nagorno-Karabakh will benefit from Jerome’s accidental detour through this part of the world. After the interview, Jerôme decided to postpone his trip to Iran so that he could spend a few days in Nagorno-Karabakh with the NGO «Femmes Courages» (Courageous Women). He will have the opportunity to meet the kids his project is benefitting and visit the region. In a few weeks, CivilNet will post a video about his experience in Nagorno-Karabakh.
