Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Baptize Daughter in St. James Armenian Cathedral in Jerusalem

After leaving Armenia on Monday, U.S. reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West traveled to Jerusalem to baptize their daughter North West at the Cathedral of St. James in the historic Armenian Quarter.
According to AFP, the couple went straight to the Cathedral after landing where they were greeted by hundreds of fans. Archbishop Aris Shrivanian told reporters that "a baptism will take place," and that Kardashian's daughter will be baptized and "she will become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church."
Kardashian's sister Khloe Kardashian also joined the couple in Jerusalem.
Following the baptism, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City's Christian Quarter, where Christians believe Jesus was crucified. The couple is also expected to visit the Western Wall, the holiest site at which Jews can pray which is located inside the Jewish Quarter of the Old City.
The Kardashian family's one week visit in Armenia garnered international media attention. During their visit, they were accompanied by a production crew filming for an episode of their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. They visited historic and cultural sites, had a special meeting with Armenia's Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and also paid a solemn visit to the Genocide Memorial where they laid flowers in memory of the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.On their last night in Yerevan, Kanye West gave a surprise performance at Swan Lake in the capital city where thousands of fans joined the rapper at the unprecedented event.
