Partner content

The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, in collaboration with UCLA’s The Promise Institute for Human Rights, hosted a Tribute to Humanitarians during the Human Rights and Humanitarian Forum in Los Angeles this past May. This event honored three exceptional humanitarians who have dedicated their lives to defending human rights and offering hope to the most vulnerable across Bahrain, Iran, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Watch as key panelists, including Armine Afeyan, the Executive Director of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, Hannah Garry, Executive Director of The Promise Institute for Human Rights at UCLA Law and Dele Olojede, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and member of the Aurora Prize Selection Committee, share insights into these humanitarians’ work and how they continue to inspire hope in a world filled with conflict and injustice.
