Civil Contract retains control in Vagharshapat election

Vagharshapat, Armenia’s fourth largest city, held municipal elections on November 16th. The ruling party Civil Contract kept its position in the district with 48% of the votes followed by Victory Alliance with 32%. Ahead of the election day, electoral observers reported violations of financial transparency rules. The Armenia Project intern Martina Sanna joined the Civilnet team to report on the day.
