European Parliament adopts trade relief measures for Armenian products
The European Parliament has voted in favor of providing trade relief measures for Armenian products for two years.
Armenia has strengthened its sovereignty by diversifying its security, economic and diplomatic partnerships after stepping away from exclusively relying on Russia as a partner, according to Olivier Decottignies, the former French ambassador to the country.
Armenia’s Central Bank raised its policy rate for the first time in almost four years, from 6.5% to 6.75%.The regulator cited annual inflation remaining above target and accelerating economic growth as the primary reasons for the increase.
