International criminal law attorney and war crimes prosecutor Nicholas Koumjian appears on CivilNet's Global Armenians to talk about an appellate court's decision to uphold a 50-year-sentence for Charles Taylor, the former president of Liberia. Taylor was convicted for 11 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity and accused of helping rebels in the neighboring Sierra Leone who murdered more than 50,000 people during an 11-year civil war. Mr. Koumjian also talks to Paul Chaderjian about his other cases at the International Criminal Court in the Hague and the trial that has taken him to Cambodia.
