Civilnet- Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan insisted Armenia’s declaration of independence is not part of the country’s constitution, in an apparent attempt to rebuff demands by Azerbaijan to change the constitution.
- Russian President Vladimir Putin told Pashinyan he remains willing to help mediate a normalization deal with Azerbaijan, following up on talks earlier this week with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
- Bahruz Samadov, an Azerbaijani researcher and freelance journalist known for his peace advocacy and criticism of Aliyev’s regime, was detained in Baku, reportedly on treason charges.
