A Journey Through Time: The Christmas Trees That Have Decorated The Republic Square Since 1948
CivilnetSince 2018, Republic Square has been dominated by a 37-meter-tall artificial Christmas tree. But the story of Armenia’s main holiday tree began on a much smaller scale. We took a step back in time to the video archives of the National Archives, where we uncovered rare footage of the Christmas tree that appeared in the square in the years following World War II.
