Armenia among nations affected by U.S. immigrant visa freeze

  • The United States will halt the issuance of immigrant visas to citizens of dozens of countries, including Armenia.
  • Turkey wants a peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan to be signed before it moves forward with normalization between Ankara and Yerevan, the country’s foreign minister said.
  • One of the investors in the redevelopment of Yerevan’s Cascade complex was declared bankrupt six years ago. The municipality says banks have confirmed they would provide loans for the project.
