Armenia Elections: Number of Women, Businessmen and Others in the Party Lists

Here are some facts and figures about the 11 political parties and alliances participating in Armenia’s snap parliamentary elections on December 9.

Female Candidates

National Progress Party: 43 out of 83, or 52%, are women
Citizen's Decision Social-Democratic Party: 35 out of 81, or 43%, are women
Rule of Law Party: 50 out of 130, or 38%, are women
Sasna Tsrer Party: 64 out of 174, or 37%, are women
Republican Party of Armenia: 45 out of 125, or 36%, are women

Christian-Democratic Rebirth Party: 27 out of 85, or 31%, are women
Prosperous Armenia Party: 51 out of 170, or 30%, are women
Bright Armenia Party: 44 out of 156, or 28%, are women
My Step Alliance: 48 out of 182, or 26%, are women
Armenian Revolutionary Federation: 39 out of 152, or 25%, are women
We Alliance: 34 out of 134, or 25%, are women

Unemployed Candidates:

The party with the most unemployed candidates is Sasna Tsrer, and the least are in the My Step Alliance.
