Australian artist Chris Howlett is in Armenia leading an 8-week Alternate Reality Gaming (ARG) project at the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies. He is working with students to create a multi-platform game, which combines both virtual and real-world elements to construct a story. The goal is to create an ARG transmedia game called ARGARMENIA. Chris Howlett spoke to CivilNet about how virtual and real environments are used to create reality games and how these environments impact cultural and societal understandings.
