CivilnetYerevan’s Mashtots Park will be renamed Missak Manouchian Park by the Presidents of France and Armenia. Manouchian was a French-Armenian intellectual and a national hero of France. The renaming has caused controversy during French President Francois Hollande’s state visit to Armenia. Political scientist and lawyer Armineh Arakelian and researcher Guillaume De Chazournes spoke to CivilNet about the controversial decision.
