On January 19, commemorations were held in several cities across Turkey to mark the 8th anniversary of the murder of the editor-in-chief of Agos weekly newspaper Hrant Dink. This year, along with demands for a fair investigation and trial into the assassination, the Armenian Genocide was also commemorated for the first time.
