Hidden People: Educating a New Generation
CivilnetBorn and raised in Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest city,Vahram Ter-Matevosyan represents a new breed of scholars making a difference in the lives of students. He is a specialist in Turkish studies and a senior lecturer at the American University of Armenia and Yerevan State University. After nearly a decade of education abroad at Lund University in Sweden and the University of Bergen in Norway, as well as a Fulbright Scholarship at the University of California, Berkeley, he returned to Armenia with his young family to devote himself to educating a new generation.
