A Legacy, a Promise and the Gift of Education

The Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) and philanthropist and benefactor Edward Avedisian have paired up to create an educational institution which promises to fulfill a parents legacy, and not only. It is the first structure, not only in Armenia but the region region to receive a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certificate, a globally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. CivilNet spoke with Executive Director of AMAA Zaven Khanjian and benefactor Edward Avedisian about the mission, objectives and hopes for the new school.
